In 2024 TUHF announced funding for a state-of-the-art Ageing Well Centre in Clondalkin Village, investing €7.6m in the project, and partnering with Bartra Healthcare and TUH.Recognising the increasing healthcare needs of our ageing population, the TUH Ageing Well Centre signifies our commitment to fostering a community-oriented, comprehensive healthcare ecosystem for older people, placing the focus on brain health, bone health, falls, and frailty.
TUHF is also dedicated to delivering a new Innovation and Digital Hub which will be equipped with the latest technology, including interactive whiteboards and virtual reality systems and will be used for a variety of purposes, including training, workshops, and presentations.
These projects, along with the many others we have delivered, are made possible with the support of our generous donors. Thanks to you we have also funded new equipment to help in operating theatres and clinics, delivered new ways of examining and monitoring medical conditions, upgraded and renovated rooms and wards within the hospital and supported miscellaneous staff projects to enhance patient services.
